lions-win-game

What a win! The Detroit Lions picked up a win on Sunday as they beat the lowly Washington Redskins – in Detroit. This was the Lions first win since December 23, 2007, a 19 game losing streak. The final score was 19-14. GREAT WIN LIONS. Stafford threw a touchdown and Morris ran for one. Good all around effort. Here is what the owner had to say.

“We not only got the monkey off our back, we got King Kong off our back,” said Lions owner William Clay Ford. “I’m hoping that this gets us over that hump and gives us a winning attitude.”

Both teams move to 1-2 after this game and now the Lions travel to Chicago to face the conference foes, Chicago Bears. They come in as 10.5 point underdogs at Bookmaker – seems like a nobrainer bet to me. More on this game to come. Congrats on the big win Lions!
